• The U.S. Partnership for Education for Sustainable Development (USP) works with many other organizations to connect sustainability efforts in the U.S. with efforts in other countries and international networks. Explore our latest report explaining initiatives and accomplishments over the past five years. USP runs two of the action groups for HESI (a collaboration of 10 U.N. agencies and education networks for sustainability).

  1. Explore the toolkit Education, Workforce Development, and Key Actions for a Green and Sustainable Economy, created for the UNESCO Greening Education Partnership.

• 2. USP facilitates an international Community of Support, open to all implementers of change toward a sustainable future. It includes participants from over 100 countries. They share solutions to barriers and success stories and strategies. The community has a compiled list with descriptions of key resources. On this list you can also see how to join the Community of Support.

The toolkit above expands upon the Solutions Summits and toolkit USP created for the Clean Energy Ministerial on workforce development, and the Global Guidance on Education for Green Jobs co-authored with UNEP about creating a green and inclusive workforce. USP facilitates an international learning community on greening campuses and their surrounding communities. USP collaborates with multiple international agencies and higher education networks via the Higher Education Sustainability Initiative. We are committed to implementation of projects to help attain the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). We have also assisted the U.S. government on international U.S. activities for sustainable development.
